So I accidently unshared my two most popular games so I reshared them but then the date on the bottom got all messed up. Is there any way to fix this? Also will my games be able to get on trending again because I reshared them? I'm very confused and kinda sad because I lost the original share dates on my games. If anyone knows anything about this could you help me please?

P.S Do my followers get the notifications agian? I sure hope not otherwise they're gonna be disapointed that there's nothing new.

1. There is no way to fix the date.
2. They can get on trending again if they get enough views quickly.

There is no way to change the share date of a project without unsharing and resharing, so no, the original dates are lost.

If you need to prove the age of a project for some reason, adding api. to the beginning of the URL (so that it looks like https://api.scratch.mit.edu/projects/<project-ID-number>) will give you a JSON object with, among other things, a creation date, when the project was originally created. This is unaffected by sharing.

Being on trending is relatively unaffected by sharing; trending has to do with project statistics and time.

You can add something along the lines of this in your notes and credits:

“This was accidentally unshared and reshared. This project was originally shared on (date here). There is nothing new in this reshare, and I am very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.”
