WHY ARE THEY 2.0 BLOCKS AND 2.0 CATEGORY NAMES?

I'm pretty sure because it was released during 2.0. (Theres a 3.0 version, but the forum uses 2.0 blocks, says this wiki)

Scratch 3.0 was made in a hurry and as such, multiple pages still use the 2.0 layout, including the forums. The Scratch Team didn't bother to change the entire block layout in BBcode when they already work fine, and they've added the 3.0 blocks to the extension, like this:

go to front
go back () layers
stop all sounds

All of which were added in 3.0.

yes there exists but I wont say the name as it is against scratch rules (I personally have 3.0 blocks on forums)

That's the neat part, you don't get the 3.0 blocks. ScratchTeam is probably too lazy to add that

Ohh, Scratch is too lazy to make the 3.0 blocks on the forums, so thats why the scratch blocks are still 2.0
