This would be helpful to reduce eye-strain and focus and also makes things accessible to people with sensory issues as well as epilepsy and migraines.
When it is toggled on it would reduce saturation on all colors. (It should be optional since it would change the look of the website a lot.)

while i do like the idea of less eye strain, wouldn't this lower color contrast?

This might be one of my favorite suggestions.
What a great idea! Not only does this help with eye strain, but it can also be accessible to many of users who are able to use scratch and it's editor.

I do like this idea! (it’d reduce eye strain for me) - But while doing this, it’d be reasonable to make the text dark. Just like in high-contrast mode!

this is literally what high contrast mode does in the editor.

I like this idea! It is very useful in protecting your eyes. Also, I think it can be improved in color options.

yeah, maybe a dark and light version, dark halves all rgb color values and light inverts, halfes rgb color values, and inverts again

Support, it reduces a lot of eye strain for me in the editor, so why not add it here?

I mean, at least in that image, I can definitely tell the blue and purple apart more (when I first saw this topic, I thought there were 2 blues in that top rainbow)
