Today I was working on a remix project but when I press save the project didn’t save, then I go to another tab but when I come back It still didn’t save. please fix this.

SAME!!! I was tryna add a new sprite to my game but it wouldnt save until i deleted it I tried waiting for a while and coming back and it still wouldnt save! And this also is happening with new projects, i created a new project added a sprite and it still wont save I'm on windows 10 and using browser scratch google chrome. It seems to start happening after the downtime. Sorry this reply is a little frantic im just so happy to know someone else is also experiencing this

Yeah, every time it got new activity it don’t save, when I delete or undo the activity it saves.

I saw in another discussion to log out and log in again, and it worked for me and some others, maybe try that?

same it happened to me too I KEPT TRYING TO SAVE FOR 2 HOURS AND IT STILL DIDNT SAVE AND ITS STILL HAPPENING

That happened to me too! It's the sprite, I tried downloading the project and reloading it but it still won't. I even tried adding the sprite to another project… they didn't save.

Make sure you are logged in or the project won't save. Try bringing up another browser tab and take it to https://scratch.mit.edu/ and see if you are logged in there. If not, try logging in and then going back to the tab with your open project and saving there.

That also happened to me. I was signed in, I checked on a different page by refreshing it, and when I downloaded it, it was only ~430 KB. I tried again, starting back from the same project. After removing about 15 blocks and making another sprite, it gave the same error again, and that's when I went to the forms to check what was happening. I think it might be an issue for accounts still logged in after the maintenance last night.

Hmmm. The scratch website was under maintenance recently, at least it said on my page. Maybe it’s just a glitch?

We think this was resolved on our end, but you will need to take action to see the fix on your end. Please save your project(s) locally by selecting Save to your computer. Then, log out of Scratch by using the Sign Out button on the account settings menu. Finally, log back into Scratch. You should then be able to save your project as normal. Good luck and sorry for the inconvenience.

Scratch project won't save I'm forced to log out and log in again to save project after maintenance scratch better fix this

So I was making a riddle school fangame, and I was making the intro cutscene, and when i tried to press save it just said “project could not save” so i hit “inspect” and clicked “isseus” and it said this:A page or script is accessing at least one of navigator.userAgent, navigator.appVersion, and navigator.platform. In a future version of Chrome, the amount of information available in the User Agent string will be reduced.
To fix this issue, replace the usage of navigator.userAgent, navigator.appVersion, and navigator.platform with feature detection, progressive enhancement, or migrate to navigator.userAgentData.
Note that for performance reasons, only the first access to one of the properties is shown, im getting tired of this : .

Hi, uh, I have a project that has some longer sound files that won't save. I downloaded it, but everytime I exit the tab, it reverts to the first version. Help!
