Updating the Community Guidelines.
Scratch's Community Guidelines is a good place to sum up the Terms of Use for children that are too lazy to read the real thing. But I don't care about that, it's the image at the bottom of the page that I care about the most. I'm pretty sure the Community Guidelines haven't been updated since Scratch 2.0 so the image at the bottom of the page shows Scratch 2.0 characters instead of 3.0 characters. I request that the image should get updated to match the current version of Scratch.

They don't have enough time for that. They are too busy moderating the site.

(#2)dev team ≠≠≠ mod team (iirc)
They don't have enough time for that. They are too busy moderating the site.
EDIT: AKA it'd be better to word it as the dev team being busy with other stuff.
As a sidenote, it's stored as a singular image rather than all of them being aligned seperately (thankfully), so if an ST Member is on break and the devs are busy, they could just align the sprites and then have the file replaced.
That's probably underestimating something or me forgetting something though, so don't take my word.

dev team = mod team or else suggestions would be implemented quicker. That's why moderation stuff gets implemented quickly, while something like this:(#2)dev team ≠≠≠ mod team (iirc)

((2) ^ (2) :: operators)(Which would only take a few minutes to implement given that someone actually made a tutorial on how to add the block and it fit within a post) takes years to implement.

You might want to ease up on it regardless. A heavy usage of bold, underlined, italicize content can add unnecessary difficulty when reading through suggestions, which makes going through suggestions difficult.ease up a little on the bbcode, woahI like using it a lot.

As for the Community Guidelines themselves, they did get updated several times since 2.0 (same concepts, but different wording to expand on clarifications for things such as what counts as personal info, regardless I would encourage that people read through them fairly regularly so that they stay updated). You will have to clarify what you mean by updating the image, as the current set of mascots (Scratch Cat, Gobo, Tera, Nana, Pico, and Giga) are still relevant.

Anyways, I can hardly see any differences in the mascots except for Gobo and Scratch Cat, by a stretch (who really cares about the 3.0 cat outline anyways)- breakfast_for_dinner

even Paddle2See has explained this to you. the dev team simply doesn't have enough resources.dev team = mod team or else suggestions would be implemented quicker. That's why moderation stuff gets implemented quickly, while something like this:(#2)dev team ≠≠≠ mod team (iirc)

When we have more engineering resources, hopefully we can implement more suggestions that would actually benefit Scratch and fit the Scratch design goals.it would be unwise to have the moderators do the dev work as well.

i also believe it can cause sensory issues for some people? You might want to ease up on it regardless. Anyways, i think this suggestion isn't that needed. What are the pros to this?

(#6)Instead of running in circles we could just ask someone on the dev or someone on the mod team since we're gonna derail if we keep this up.
dev team = mod team or else suggestions would be implemented quicker.
EDIT:
(#8)I'm not OP but I assume they mean the sprites at the bottom.
You will have to clarify what you mean by updating the image, as the current set of mascots (Scratch Cat, Gobo, Tera, Nana, Pico, and Giga) are still relevant.
Say, comparing Scratch Cat:

EDIT2: Key diffs here are the outline colors, the direction - and size – of the mouth & head, and the somewhat-horizontally stray line slightly visible on the left ear (and a downwards one at the right ear). I could be misinterpreting what OP means, though.

The design of 3.0 Scratch Cat and 2.0 Scratch Cat are different. You might want to ease up on it regardless. Can you cite that? (As in, link when codubee said that) I’m not saying that you’re lying I just wanna see where he said thatdev team = mod team(#2)dev team ≠≠≠ mod team (iirc)

I think there's no point into discussing it further, it seems like people being unnecessarily picky on aesthetics at this point.
