Cloud variable connections no longer work. In the network tab on Firefox, I see strange behavior; a “handshake” request is sent then immediately denied, then the request for connection infinitely loops.

Oh gosh. I just thought of something…….

What if They forced us to reset cloud variables in our projects, AGAIN? Like from before, you would have to go to your own scratch project, and rename the cloud variables to make them “work” again, again?

If that is the case here, then Scratch Team doesn't care about Clouid Data projects… The argument is that they seem to ruin, and break MORE of these cloud projects than to actually “fix” these projects with every “update” to the website.

Cloud variables properly broken at the moment. Like, totally not working. Even if you rename them, that new name doesn't appear on cloud activity.

Cloud projects are continuously connecting & disconnecting with the clouddata server. I'm sure they didn't used to do that…

Of interest, there is the other issue right now, where attempting to save a costume/sound fails with an HTTP 403 (Forbidden) error. Wonder if there's a connection. I can't find a “Scratch Service Status” page… but I can find lots of worried people in the Bugs and Glitches forum.

OK, so signing out and then back in fixed the ‘project not saving’ problem for me. But it didn't fix the ‘cloud data not saving’ problem!

Idk is this a bug??:
I want to login in scratch (my account: I-LIKE-TEAMS—ILT) but it said the username does not exist… BUT when I search it I see the projects and the account so why I can’t login/scratch means the username does not exist?

Cloud variables are not working for me. I have tried using different devices, making new projects, reloading. It just isn't saving. I would greatly appreciate any help.
Edit: Link to the cloud data, I tried using it 7/3/24 and it didn't work. There is no data for that time that I can see: https://scratch.mit.edu/cloudmonitor/1043597424/

@RicDiamond1477, I have been having the same issue, projects not saving, but I found that what @ThemeAndReality said worked for me. Try opening a new tab on your web browser and signing out of your scratch account. Then sign back in.
