Really? I haven't seen much against this stuff. I have nothing against OCs and headcannons (although some headcannons are pretty stupid). Shipping is a different story, as most are stupid and just straight-up weird.

I didn't love it, but it added variety and it was kinda funny at times. Although, I do agree with the criticism that it took away time from the movie that could've been added towards Tails' and Knuckles' backstory. I don't believe that the wedding plot should be removed, but the movie is only 122 minutes long, I think it'd would've been fine if the movie was an extra 10 minutes longer to add backstories for Tails and Knuckles.

Eh, I've got the same story as Prime. I watched the first season of the show, and then I lost interest. The only episodes I cared for were S2 EP38 and S2 EP45/46.

This is assuming Sonic 4 even happens at all, and in my opinion, it doesn't. 4 ends on a cliffhanger that's never been resolved, being that Little Planet has been mechanized again. Knowing Sonic, he'd try to stop it, but he never does.
And if we assume he did it off-screen and Sonic 4 does happen, it has been stated numerous times that CD takes place between Sonic 1 and 2, the most recent being Sonic Origins. The CD island is in between the 1 and 2 islands, and in Story Mode, where CD happens between Sonic 1 and 2.

As for my own hot take… uhh sonic jump and runners and runners adventure are canon

• By what I mean about saying forces isn’t that bad, yes the story is bad and the boost formula isn’t my favorite sonic gameplay style, but I still thought the game was decent and most of the hate for the game seems overblown (I’m not a huge fan of it, it’s definitely one of my least favorite sonic games so I agree it deserves a 58% but some people act like forces was made by the devil himself)

Does sonic speed simulator count as a sonic game? It’s a sonic roblox simulator made by sega themselves. Personally I think it still counts, but then again, I consider the sonic popcorn machine to be a sonic game.

Sonic 2 is (in my opinion) the worst genesis game. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad game, but I just get as much enjoyment out of it as the other genesis games.

I feel that forces had potential to be a good game, but its execution was messed up in almost every way possible.

The plot had a lot of potential, it's just that you don't feel the consequences of anything that happens. I remember in Capital City, Amy says that 80% of their forces were wiped out and she's lost contact with the remaining 20%. This sounds like a cool way to get into how many lives are being lot for this war… and then nothing happens.

I’m thinking about that one (post on blue bird website that scratch likes to censor the name of) that said something along the lines of “one time a forces modder added a generations stage into forces and removed all of the art assets to see if anyone would call it a forces level and they did” :sob:

I mean I’d say any game officially licensed by the owners of a series would count as a game in said series, that doesn’t necessarily have to mean it’s canon or a mainline title though

I missed sonic’s birthday (it was yesterday) but I made this piece of sonic art based on the original sega genesis sonic sprite

I actually never knew that. There is a canon though. It's just the fact no one knows where everything is.
