Later versions of windows 10 and 11 are annoying to use due to Microsoft OneDrive folders being the default save locations for a lot of items, so the computer keeps bugging you about being out of storage space when your 1TB drive is mostly empty.

That being said, Apple has been doing the same thing with iOS and iCloud for years now, so Microsoft doing it really isn't that surprising. Google will probably do the same on Chromebooks eventually. It makes them money.

That's not a problem when you have lots of OneDrive storage but yeah in most cases signing in with a local account is just the way to go so you don't have to deal with a lot of that cloud stuff.

Ah yes 5 gb of free onedrive storage. Im still using google cloud to save documents and photos since google offers more storage. You can still create new google account if youre out of storage.

I'm just careful where I save my files .
My computer has 1TB of storage, and my Microsoft account has something like 2KB left on OneDrive. Honestly, I use Google Drive. I also have an iPad, so it's easy to transfer things there as well.

And if you're wondering what did happen: It shows an error, saying “This is incompatible with your VM/computer” or something like that
