Transformers Robots in Disguise (2015)
Discuss the upcoming (It premiers on March 14) Transformers TV series here. What's everyone's opinion on the show from what we've seen so far? NOTE: This is for the 2015 series and its associated comics, toyline, etc. NOT any of the other toylines/comics/2001 series.

Ok, so starting off, I don't think the show looks good so far. Just the fact that Bumblebee is leading and that Grimlock can speak complete sentences is enough to make me dislike it. Add that to the fact that Sideswipe has that weird hair, Strongarm is now the name of a female Transformer (couldn't they have called her Chromia???), Grimlock is green, Steeljaw is a Decepticon, and just the general look of the Decepticons overall.

I'm ticked that Bumblebee is the lead, and Sideswipe had BETTER BE KNOCKOUT WITH A NAME CHANGE ‘COS THAT IS WAAAAY TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT.
Regarding Grimsly speaking full sentences, in the Transformers Prime comics he could, but very rarely in Dino mode, and I think that’s acceptable for the most part; they're trying to make something serious in 2015 that wasn't very serious back in the 80's (which was why whenever it was ‘the end of the world’ in G1, I never felt the apprehension I felt when that was the case in Transformers Prime). For me, as long as they stick pretty closely to the original, I'm okay. Now, when they do something like make Wheeljack a Wrecker, THAT'S when I get mad.
As for your other peeves, yeah, I don't have terribly high hopes… I wish they had just continued on with TFP in the same time period as RiD, because the animation was great and they had a lot of wiggle room to add in things. Plus, they left way too many cliffhangers. If Soundwave hasn't found his way out of the Shadow Zone by that point, I may ditch the series altogether; Soundwave is INCREDIBLY intelligent (so if a couple of adolescents can figure it out, he definitely can), and you cannot have Transformers without Soundwave- I don't care if Megatron has quit the Decepticons.

I'm ticked that Bumblebee is the lead, and Sideswipe had BETTER BE KNOCKOUT WITH A NAME CHANGE ‘COS THAT IS WAAAAY TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT.I wish I could read the comics (I don't have easy access to them). The whole thing seems like Hasbro/Takara just went “Ok, we gave you fans/older kids/teenagers a series, now we're gonna make one for 5-10 year olds because it's to much work to keep up Rescue Bots.” Hopefully this will just be a filler series until the 5th movie, and after that they'll do something else (Like a prequel series on Cybertron!).

The series looks rather annoying, and Bumblebee as the leader? No.

I for one think that Robots in Disguise 2015 is a pretty great tv show, and that they made a pretty good storyline and some pretty good characters. I mean, they are “somewhat” strange, but I think the characters are ok, especially Sideswipe and Steeljaw.

Robots in Disguise 2015 is AMAZING!!! Some people may say I have a bad taste in Transformers, but this show is still good.
I'm just waiting for it to come out on Netflix so I can watch it.

SEASON TWO HURRY UP AND GET ON NETFLIX!!!!!
Soundwave is in episode 10, which is called Portals. That episode is awesome, mainly because of Soundwave though.
But Bumblebee gets a turn in the Shadowzone, and the kids from Prime are name-dropped.
