After doing a ban speedrun, my main account was also banned. Before I got finally unbanned, the Scratch Team sent me the following:

“Thank you for your message.

Due to your history, we would like you to use only one account. Please be aware that creating or using alternate accounts will result in you being permanently banned and losing your access to Scratch. If you agree to this, please let us know which account you would like to use.”

Well my messages are getting annoying. More than 80% of them are people loving and favouring the same project that I think got too popular because it was a simple project. Each day when I wake up, I get at least a hundred messages, which is way too much. A few people have told me to make an alternate account so I don't have to see the messages, but I'm scared I would get banned, even if the alternate accounts follows the rules. So, would I get banned if I create an alt that follows the rules?

Yes, if you create an alternate account, you risk your main account getting permanently banned.

This is absolutely not true in this case; please read the OP carefully. Per the OP, the Scratch Team has explicitly asked them not to create another alternate account.

In that case, I'll have to deal with my messages. I contacted the ST earlier this month regarding that they told me I can only use one account. However, they haven't responded in nearly a month.

This is a special situation. Sometimes users who get banned for a major reason are asked to not use Scratch on additional accounts, as a precaution to make sure if they are banned again, they don't try to ban evade. So yes, you are not allowed to create an alt. You either have a choice of being on one account or none at all.

If you want to move accounts, I would suggest using Contact Us to ask if it's okay, and just explain your situation.
They might want you to delete your current account if you did that though, to ensure that you don't ban evade on it.
Honestly, just deal with the messages, or completely ignore them.
