Can mass reporting get you banned?

Hello, someone is threatening my friend, and is reporting all his projects and comments even though they're unproblematic. This counts as mass reporting and false reporting, can this get the person who is reporting my friend banned because they're false reporting?
Also, can this get my friend banned?

Here it is

To answer your question, yes you can get banned for false reporting, if the Scratch Team repeatedly tells you not to do it.

Ok, how many reports does it take to get banned?

There is no set number. It depends on how many reports you sent, how many times you were alerted previously, how frequently those alerts were sent, how long ago those alerts were sent, what else you may have been alerted for, etc.

Oh. Well, I will wait for the reporter to get banned I guess. They're problematic and they probably got alerted before

Although at some point it's just considered spam and previous alerts (or lack thereof) are just ignored- if you send 300 identical reports about the same thing, you're obviously spaming it.
