So far, the Bible Outreach has been a tremendous success. We will start our second campaign this weekend with new books and we plan to distribute 10x more books. Thank you to all those who have helped us!

Proposal for War Rules
Specifically ending wars.

A war ends when one side surrenders
BUT
A nation automatically has to surrender if all of it's settlements are captured

What counts as a settlement?

A settlement is any location in a nation with at least 2 separate buildings, at least 1 bed, at least 4 of the nation's Banners present (but they cannot be hidden), and a sign somewhere stating the date when the settlement was established.

Any location that can be reached via the teleport hub is automatically considered a settlement regardless if it meets the normal requirements.

How do you capture a settlement during a war?

To claim a settlement, you must have at least Iron Armor (this is to prevent teleport hub/spawn point abuse), you must place your own nation's banner and remove those of the nation's settlement you are capturing. (This is why your banners cannot be hidden. And you can't hide the capturing nation's banners either.), and you obviously have to have declared war on the nation, otherwise it's considered griefing. You can't capture a settlement if members of the nation are not online.

One of my settlements was captured. What do I do now?

Once a settlement is captured, it is considered part of the capturing nation's territory, and is therefore subject to the same rules that their normal territory would be. You can capture a settlement back: just follow the same steps that were used to capture the settlement in the first place.

All of my settlements have been captured! What happens now?

Your nation will be forced to surrender. What happens to the territory that was captured is up to the nation who won the war: You might be able to get your settlements back, you might not.

Wait, couldn't I just make more settlements and win the war that way?

Any new settlements created during the war do not count towards your total number of settlements.

When does this go into effect?

It has not yet been approved by the admins, and may not be. However, if it is approved, it should go into effect during a time when there are no wars happening. For 1 week after this ruleset goes into effect, war should not be allowed to give time for nations to build settlements and design banners for their nation. After 1 week, war should be allowed again.

I don't like a part of these rules, what can I do about it?

Just let me know what you don't like, and I'll try to refine these rules.

Maybe in addition to having to do the flag thing u also have to kill half there nation at least once (after u get the flags)

I don't like the ideas for what is a settlement. For something to be a settlement, it must be in your territory, and have a bed. You also need to have a sign outside of the settlement denoting the name of the settlement and which country owns it.
Also, the rule about needing iron armour is a bit unfair. Maybe you need to occupy the settlement for one in-game day to count as capturing it?

You killed all our villagers. When no-one was online. Also it did not say you can tnt in war at all
