Use googleGood list, however I feel like shazam and Google's orders are flipped. And the “bad way” was really only used to solve EKT in practice (EKT just sounds like a song that would fit in a “movie”).
Use shazam
Use youtube to search up generic stuff
Use youtube to search up + search filters
Searching on obscure sites or other stuff
Search up in a bad way (not safe for scratch)
Usee google search filters

i'm curious how you guys think one would go about finding the song's author nowadays. like, do you think there's any sliver of a chance at this point? or is this gonna be a cold case forever?

i just listened to the most mysterious song in full for the first time… and wow. that was actually really good.It's those songs that triggers my “imagination music video” thingy that I have whenever I listen to some songs. Which honestly I enjoy.

Still waiting for the day when more info for “Everyone Knows That” gets found.Everyone knows that has been found! It has been found in a um… “movie,” so there's a lot of “backrgound noise”. The creators of the song are planning on making a clean version at some point.
According to one video, I found out that it was used in a commercial for a car brand called Saleen.
It's very ironic that a song which people have decided to call “Everyone Knows That” has very little details known about it.
