Ok hot take here. Brazilian phonk sucks. Overtly predictable, way too short. And mostly copy-and-paste.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, good music taste is being educated enough to understand what's good and bad, regardless of what you like, and open minded enough to appreciate all kinds of music, even if it doesn't appeal to you. I love classical music and old musical theatre more than anything, and I also especially love glam rock and early era punk rock, but I can appreciate any number of things. I consider myself to have good music taste. I think some people do have bad taste. Bad taste would be only liking one genre, not even knowing why you like it, and rejecting all other genres out of basically just stubborness.

I think this is one of the best ways I've heard the concept of good music taste described, honestly.

This might seem strange, but YTPMVs.

They can turn, for example, an ad for an obscure American technology store that closed down years ago into actual art (no, I'm not kidding this is actually a real thing)

Everyone has different tastes in music, im sure if you asked a 100 people what their favorite genre is they'd all have somewhat different answers from each other

Not 100% related but you know those poster-billboard looking thingys, that advertise a store (or many stores in the area)? I saw one that showed HHgreg. It must've been old since I didn't see the actual store.

That's not cringe that's just you making sure you listen to songs your parents would approve of.
