Welcome to Field Day, a fun open opportunity to not only bond with fellow members, but have fun with crazy events allowing you to bond with your horse. Rules may be found below, they are specific, but hopefully not that hard, as most of the do nots are cruel, meaning you shouldn’t have them anyway. Please read all the way through, if you don’t I will immediately disqualify from this fun event.

• No cruel bits, such as Twisted Bits, Gag Bits, Spanish bits, ect. The only bits permitted are Egg But, D Ring, and a Full Cheek.
• Western Tack is not permitted, unless you want to specifically use it for the forty minute trail. If you do not, the basic English tack will be used, general purpose preferred, but I will search for best fitting based on logs, rain, ect.
• If you would like to use a saddle cover for the trail or any other events including water or rain you may bring one yourself, but will only be used when needed.
• General purpose tack is open to all events, but if you would like specific jumping tack, dressage tack ect you may bring some.
• If you have dressage tack, but not jumping, just use general purpose tack. It makes things 100x more complicated if you have dressage and jumping tack, but no halter or trail tack.
• If your horse has had a colic episode within two months, they may not participate unless there is a linked comment thread or vet visit from a vet saying otherwise
• A mare with a foal that is not weaned may not participate
• A mare who has foaled within one month may not participate, if two foals, then It must be two months.
• If a horse is older than 18 years of age, they must have a vet saying they can either participate, or still participate in shows.
• Even with vet certifications, a horse older than 23 years may not participate in this event period.
• Please check with me on this forum first if your rider has any medical conditions, whether it be asthma, or recovered from a broken leg.
• Eventing grease is allowed, but not mandatory or forced. It will only be used for the eventing portions however, so please include a version of the horse without it.
• if you are participating, please include your kids as well.
• Your rider/s must be able to, jump (low cross rails), go up to a canter, hold the sitting trot, steer western (if for trail), and correct minor mistakes, and be able to correct horses bucks, rears, refusals and more.

Hey everyone, I’d just like to say, we’re only a few hours in and managing this is already taking a toll. I’ve worked to hard for THREE people to not read any of this and just sign-up, you know who you are. I don’t appreciate working this hard to make this nice if this is what y’all are gonna do. If this keeps up there won’t be anymore fun events like this, or anymore shows. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Hey! This seems super fun! I can’t wait to enter! I’m wondering, how many slots are available? I have some stuff to do today so most likely wont be too active and don’t want all the spots to be taken! Can you save me a spot by any chance ?

Hey Snow! I totally understand the struggle of getting in, but right now spots are various depending on entries. If you enter anytime today you’d most likely get in. However, like stated in the project, I don’t want to cut others opportunity of joining. As long as you join today you should be fine, and I’m happy to give you a reminder to enter as well.

Hey! If you rider is 17 that’s fine, even if you have a kid. You just won’t be in a group alone (even if you were over 18 you wouldn’t), you’ll be with some others, who are over the age. Long story short, it won’t affect anything.

Alright, cuz it said that otherwise. I might just take myself though, depending on if I can be bothered to fit riders and tack.

Of course, you could always use the horse you gave us for trails and swap the riders too <33

However, like stated in the project, I don’t want to cut others opportunity in joining. As long as you join today you should be fine, and I’m happy to give you a reminder to enter as well.

There is no closing date. It’s just how many entries we have. It’s kind of filling up so enter soon!

Hi, I have a few questions about joining - 1) What do I need to put for rider/horse experience? Like beginner, advanced etc. or explain what they can do? 2) My horse hasn't been to a vet yet, so should I just skip that part? 3) I don't have any updates as I just got my horse, so should I skip that too? Sorry for all the questions! <3

Hi! 1) It’s required to add Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced for the experience, but for rider you can add rank like vet or rider if you would like. 2) Id like to hook you up with my vet, just for safety issues of you and the horse and before preparing. 3) if the horse is green then I’d like you to try to enter another horse, but if they already had training or their description said they were well trained it’s fine.
