Scratch team, can you add a ruler tool in the costume editor for drawing straight lines in the pen tool? Thanks!

A. This should go in the Suggestions forum
B. Isn't that just the line tool?

Pen tool can use straight lines, and at least in 2.0, you can hold shift while the line tool is used to draw straight lines.

They actually kept that feature in Scratch 3.0.

Yea, though if I remember correctly, none of the shift stuff shows when you hover anymore (when you hovered over rectangle or circle in 2.0, there would be a tooltip that said Ellipse (Shift: Circle) and Rectangle (Shift: Square)

Probably because Scratch 3.0 is designed to be used on tablets, which don't have a shift key, and can't hover over things. They likely kept the feature for the convince of people on things with keyboards.

I mean, why not add some sort of dropdown with rectangle and square or sth though? Though I do not know what the 3.0 paint editor looks like.
