What to add to Scratch [ruler tool for paint editor]
Scratch team, can you add a ruler tool in the costume editor for drawing straight lines in the pen tool? Thanks!

Pen tool can use straight lines, and at least in 2.0, you can hold shift while the line tool is used to draw straight lines. Scratch team, can you add a ruler tool in the costume editor for drawing straight lines in the pen tool? Thanks!

Yea, though if I remember correctly, none of the shift stuff shows when you hover anymore (when you hovered over rectangle or circle in 2.0, there would be a tooltip that said Ellipse (Shift: Circle) and Rectangle (Shift: Square)They actually kept that feature in Scratch 3.0.Pen tool can use straight lines, and at least in 2.0, you can hold shift while the line tool is used to draw straight lines. Probably because Scratch 3.0 is designed to be used on tablets, which don't have a shift key, and can't hover over things. They likely kept the feature for the convince of people on things with keyboards.Yea, though if I remember correctly, none of the shift stuff shows when you hover anymore (when you hovered over rectangle or circle in 2.0, there would be a tooltip that said Ellipse (Shift: Circle) and Rectangle (Shift: Square)They actually kept that feature in Scratch 3.0.Pen tool can use straight lines, and at least in 2.0, you can hold shift while the line tool is used to draw straight lines. I mean, why not add some sort of dropdown with rectangle and square or sth though? Though I do not know what the 3.0 paint editor looks like.Probably because Scratch 3.0 is designed to be used on tablets, which don't have a shift key, and can't hover over things.
