Harder to suggest things

No support. Sometimes New Scratchers have to make suggestions about blocks, have a question about a block or they may need help with scripts.

Also, there are more cons than pros.

blockspam can be done by anyone, scratcher or new scratcher. banning someone from using something extremely useful that can hardly be abused in a meaningful way just because of the slightest chance of someone spamming the feature is not going to solve the problem.

We have suggestions and HwS that would be really limited with this.
Besides, fi someone does blockspam, just report them. Maybe redirect them o the test topic.

Scratchers blockspam too.
And this would make it harder for new scratchers to explain their problems on Help with Scripts, and new scratchers, as far as I've concerned, are more likely to need help.

Floragato, there are more cons than pros. Also, new Scratchers need more help as they are less familiar with Scratch and don't know how to fix bugs in their project. How will they get necessary help if they can't use scratchblocks and need to wait for the 2 weeks to use them?

Here is a solution to the problem. If the New Scratcher has scratchblocks in the forum when they press post they get warned to use blocks appropriately and not to blockspam but can still press the post button to post it. If they blockspam multiple times afterward and get reported for that, then the scratchblocks feature will be taken away.

Message that could be used:
“It seems like you are putting blocks in your post. Please make sure the blocks are related to the topic. If you want to test blocks then use the green checkmark (Optional part: or use the block testing topic.). Misuse of blocks can disable the scratchblocks feature”
