The wording makes it a lot longer than it can be.

the shortest it could be is M (Moderator), C (Community, as in Community Moderator) or CM (Community Moderator)

Or maybe it could just say Moderator, community moderator, etc

Bump! I like this idea.

However, community moderator…. Ehhhhh, no, because people might think it’s like the community moderator program that existed like a decade ago or something. Maybe just, “Scratch Moderator”? Or “moderator”?

“Community Moderator” is the official job title for Scratch moderators, and is more widely used these days to refer to such moderators. I think “Community Moderator” would be appropriate to use in this case.

It is? I didn’t even know, lol.

But still, wouldn’t this cause confusion because the community moderator scratchers that were in the old program were also called that?

Potentially, but I find that the confusion is mitigated since the program ended over 10 years ago and involved an extremely small subset of Scratchers. Those who actually know about this old program are probably limited to (1) those who have been around since it existed, and (2) those who stumbled upon the relevant Scratch Wiki article about it — and I suspect both groups of people are extremely small in comparison to the amount of currently-active Scratchers on the website. In other words, if you mention “Community Moderator” to a random Scratcher these days, they will probably assume you are talking about a Scratch moderator.
