For those that have Boxboy + Boxgirl, is it worth it?

Yep, that's exactly what it is. It's by the developers of Kirby, and it's by far one of my favorite games of all time.

You play as Qbby (Cu-BEE), and you basically create boxes to progress through levels. You can make stairs, shields, hooks… things like that. There's also a little bit of lore in there to keep you going.

There's the original trilogy and BoxBoy + BoxGirl. I suggest getting the original trilogy on 3DS before the eShop shuts down, as it's really good, and the entire trilogy only costs $15. BoxBoxBoy is interesting as it's like BB only you can now make two sets of boxes. I could be wrong, but I think it's the shortest entry in the series not counting bonus worlds. Bye-Bye BoxBoy reverts back to the original formula, but there's a spaceship. And a bunch of planets you go on. Every so often you'll have to escort baby Boxes (or Qbabies) through levels. And to top it all off, you even get to play with rocket boxes, exploding boxes, warp boxes, and boxes that can hover or go anywhere you desire. It's a great ending to the trilogy.

Now for BoxBoy + BoxGirl. I separate it from the others because, well… Various lore related stuff you'll have to figure out yourself. But let's just say it's like the final piece of the puzzle, or it can be the only piece. Same thing with the boxes like before, but now it's co-op. You can either play as Qbby or Qbby's girlfriend Qucy, and in the new co-op mode you can play with a friend as Box Mom and Box Dad who are totally different characters (or just play the co-op mode by yourself, that's also allowed.) And also upon beating both campaigns, you can play as Qudy, the tall one.

Interesting fact: apparently the icon for the tips and tricks section of the shop in BB is a scroll instead of a book if you play the japanese version. Interesting.

This might also apply to the comics section in BBB and BBBB, but idk.

I'm pretty sure nearly no one has the Qbby amiibo (on Scratch) since it's quite rare, and if you do want to get it, it's around $244 to $330.
also it was only originally sold in Japan.

i maintain the boxboy wiki along with this “audaaa” guy by the way, it's a pretty neat wiki (although it's still missing a lot of content)

Boxmaxxing steps
Step 1: decrease jawline to make head appear more box like.
Step 2: Eat out of square tupperware.
Step 3: Listen to Squarepusher (at your own risk)
Step 4: Change your legal name to BoxBoy
Step 5: Construct life size Boxboy cosplay so no one ever knows you are not square.
Step 6: (“This step has been seized for your safety” -bb)
Step 7: You have now completed the steps to Boxmax!

I started Boxboy once, but never beat it.
The only one I actually finished was Bye Bye Boxboy.
It was pretty fun.

bye-bye boxboy is my favorite of the four games. boxboy + boxgirl is second, boxboy is third, and boxboxboy is fourth.

This game was SO good when I first played the demo version. Can't wait to buy the full game somehow.
