Don't bump a forum topic until after 24 hours AND it is not on the first page

Me when a new forumer questions the most famous forum helper's knowledge:

This now seems like common forum ettiquete that people know, and it is also in the guide to the suggestions forum sticky. Could this maybe now be closed from this?

Anyone else feel similarly about this idea?

I prefer the 24h OR offpage rule, because there are important topics that need to be resolved, however, I respect your opinion.
I usually only bump once a day

guide. not requirement. the st wont give you alert for multiple times of this violation

I support because this can happen:

forever
User 1 bumps all suggestions on second page
Bumps all suggestions that used to be on first page
end

(I used Scratchblocks to understand it better.)

And there can be no major activity, and a suggestion is on the first page, and a bump would basically be useless, and should be considered spam.
