Wii U/ 3DS like dual screen function.

Just a couple of questions:
-is it really that practical?
-does ST have the resources to do it?
-why is nobody actually reading the post?

Bluetooth features are slowly gaining support across all major web browsers- I think the two that are left without them are Firefox and Safari. In any case, Scratch Link exists already, but it only works with the Scratch App.

you dont hear about it because Nintendo doesn't want people to think homebrewing helps preserve virtual console and the original games
there are guides on how to do it i did it in 5 minutes with the mii maker and a sd card

I like the idea of having multiple environments, split-screen or not. I'm not sure what multiple devices would be used for, but multiple scenes that could be switched would open up a lot of possibilities. As of now, an NES Zelda-style game is annoying to make because you have to show and hide everything whenever you switch screens, so this would make it much easier to have continuous open worlds. Maybe that's a bit complex for scratch, though…

So what would you need to get the second screen working (the TV or monitor)?

I'd say the monitor.
