i dont have a separate mobile network, but I just tried opening scratch using my mobile data, and it worked! All of my projects are there. thank you !!

i dont have a separate mobile network, but I just tried opening scratch using my mobile data, and it worked! All of my projects are there.

It appears I have found a solution!

SOLUTION
The current solution is to connect to scratch via mobile data. This appears to fix the glitch for that device. Some devices can let other device join the mobile data network via a “hotspot”.

the question now is, what is causing the glitch?
And why are so many teachers experiencing it?

My guess is that, because schools have much stricter firewalls than normal, it is causing people in schools to get the glitch.

The thumbnails just don't show up.

hey is anyone getting this glitch where the language suddently shifts to english and when you refresh it's back to normal? (for context, my scratch is set to brazillian portuguese)

edit: also the default scratch PFPs are appearing as those “file not found” symbols

- i use Google Chrome on my Chromebook
- i was working on a project; i had opened the project and a couple of my sprites had glitched out and were replaced by gray boxes with question marks, so i thought closing and reopening the project would fix it, then my stuff wouldn't load
- N/A, i can't figure out how to fix it
- my wifi right now is home, but i'm using a school-issued Chromebook
- i don't have another device to test this
- yep, tried all my alts and the issue still arises
- again, don't have another device

the issue started yesterday and i've tried everything i could think of to fix it: i've logged in & out, restarted my computer, cleared my cookies; nothing is working.

guys look there isn't a way that you can fix it but I do have something so you can work on your projects tho so you just need to go to history and look it up then bookmark it so you can just go back to it if you x out

No, but it could be your web browser translating to English? Or maybe it is related to the glitch.

i use google. if google was translating scratch into english, a little pop up would have appeared saying so. however, that hasn't happened, so i don't think it's that.
