The Samsung Refrigerator - Can it run Scratch

Can the Samsung Smart Refrigerator run Scratch? I found a video of a guy saying 1% of his viewers are watching him on a Samsung fridge and I was wondering if it could run Scratch.

If it has a browser that supports JavaScript and WebGL, it can run Scratch. AFAIK, Samsung smart fridges have a browser

HTML support is based off there being a browser. Any Turing complete language machine can run Scratch.
And, Skyrim has been ran on it before, which should require more CPU usage. So, you should be able to.

If you can watch YouTube you could probably run Scratch. No idea what the performance would be but it's probably possible.

As long as there is a web browser, yes, it can run Scratch. And if it supports any functional programming language (a Turing Complete language), then you can program a web browser. Samsung fridges support Turing complete languages, so you can build a web browser for it, and thus it can run Scratch.

I just looked at the price of one of these things and these darn fridges are over $1,000.

Well, they stuck a computer inside a refrigerator, neither of which are cheap…

I got a Chromebook on the side of the road for free. Works fine. I got a fridge at a garage sale for $10.
I could jam the chromebook into the fridge and sell it for $10!

Smasmug these days…

Well, that is true. Most of the cost of computers come from the rare earth metals used inside their batteries (and the small amount of gold used inside their motherboards), and the design processes used in making them, and paying those who actually did the work of making the machines, and finally making some kind of profit. Silicon and copper are really cheap (silicon is the second most common element on the planet, after iron), so they don't cost much, and that's what your processor core is made of.

The Chromebook on the side of the road is not my main go-to computer
Neither is the fridge.

As a specific iPod guy says it, you mean “Smasnug”?

I looked at the Samsung Family Hub 7.0 manual and it appears that it supports Samsung Internet that doesn't seem that too different from the Samsung Internet app on Samsung phones and tablets. The Family Hub also appears to be a modified version of Android with Samsung's own One UI-like skin. So, theoretically, you probably could run Scratch if you wanted to on Samsung refrigerators with a relatively new Family Hub software.

Of course, no guarantees - I don't have those refrigerators.
