No it’s different, that’s suggesting to choose certain words to censor, this is suggesting that stuff like unmoderated chat website should not be censored but someone can choose for it to be censored. (I think)have you read the small text
this is why I made a comment saying scratchers really need to read

I’ve only read the first page of the discussion so excuse me if I say something that’s been said before
The fact that these days, a lot of young kids know bad words, doesn’t mean EVERY kid knows them. Not everyone grows up in an environment full of swearing and saying bad words. Another thing, not every Scratcher speaks English as their native language. They may not know English swears, but if people were allowed to say them on here, they would learn about them, which would just result in them swearing more in a lot of cases.
And for the purple/blue app. The fact the bad words aren’t on Scratch but on that app, doesn’t make the app kid-friendly and “shouldn’t be censored on Scratch” word. WHO CARES you’re not putting the bad words on Scratch, by linking that app you’re responsible for people clicking the link and seeing bad words.
Last point I’m gonna make, if Scratch allowed swearing it would go against their own community guidelines, and the entire idea of Scratch being an educational site.

We know it is far from perfect - but it actually does a pretty good job of cutting down on inappropriate language.
