I wanna make a mega man game but I don’t really know how idk how to make a platformer engine and when I try griffpatches tutorial it doesn’t work so can anyone help?

Why not look at different platformer engines and analyze the codes? It kind of works for me, because I know how to make the player fall and move on the screen as well as collisions. And if that doesn't work for you, just TRY to follow Griffpatch's tutorials. They help a TON.

I now know how to make a platformer I actually joined griffpatch academy but making all the mega man mechanics is kinda difficult for example the way
It switches between scenes ik an easy way but scrolling is very hard with this so I need tiles but tiles will make scene switching harder and you can’t have both
