how to do animations?
Hi, most people create Scratch animations by repeating multiple costumes over and over, each time with a slight change in order to give the illusion of movement. An example would be making a character wave. This could be done by creating a costume with the character's arm positioned in a waving position, but then you could make other costumes where the character's arm is in a different position. You can use the “repeat” or “forever” loop blocks to make a sprite change costumes multiple times. You could also incorporate moving parts of the character such as a separate sprite for the legs that rotate to make the a character look like it is working. These are only ideas and there are certainly other ways to experiment with animating
