Partially recognized countries are countries that are not recognized by all UN members, only recognized by non-UN members, or nobody
recognizes them at all. Please make this topic about the non-UN ones OR ones that are recognized by very few UN members. (Please don't talk about countries many members recognize like Palestine, Kosovo, China, North/South Korea, Taiwan, Israel, etc.

Ones I know of:

Liberland
Somaliland
Northern Cyprus, which is only recognized by one UN member, Turkey, which is unsurprising since it's supposed to be a Turkish puppet state. The Turks do not own any of Cyprus though and it is not a proper country. Turkey just want more land.

Here are some partially recognized states that are not recognized by most UN members or any UN members:
- Somaliland - A self-declared sovereign state that controls parts of northern Somalia but is not internationally recognized. It has maintained its own government since 1991.

- Nagorno-Karabakh - A de facto independent republic that controls most of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan since the 1994 ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh War, but is not recognized by any UN member state. It is recognized by three non-UN member states: Abkhazia, Artsakh, and South Ossetia.

- Transnistria - A disputed territory controlled by the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), which broke away from Moldova in 1990. It is recognized only by Abkhazia, Artsakh, and South Ossetia.

- Abkhazia - A disputed territory on the eastern coast of the Black Sea that has functioning state institutions separate from Georgia since the 1992-93 war. It is recognized by Russia, Nicaragua, Nauru, Venezuela, Syria and Artsakh.

- South Ossetia - A disputed territory that has functioning state institutions and is controlled by the Government of South Ossetia, but is not recognized by most UN members. It is recognized only by Russia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Nauru and Syria.

- Artsakh - Also known as Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, it controls parts of the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region but is only recognized by Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transnistria.

Azerbaijan isn't recognized by 7 UN members: Botswana, Armenia, the Central African Republic, Cyprus, Kiribati, and the Federated States of Micronesia. It's also not recognized by the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic

But Azerbaijan maintains diplomatic relations with 185 United Nations member states.
The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) is recognized by 46 out of 193 United Nations member states as of September 2022. However, at different times, the SADR has been recognized by 84 UN member states, but 38 of them have since “frozen” or “withdrawn” their recognition. So while the SADR is currently recognized by 46 UN member states, it has been recognized by a higher number of 84 states at various points in time, before some withdrew or froze their recognition.

The flag of Abkhazia is very sick.

My favourite partially recognised country has to be Transnistria. Its such a cool sliver of moldova
