-15 year old protagonist is trying to get to her math class (abby)

- her backpack is open, and a token of a dead friend drops out that she didn't even realise that was in her bag

- she gets a small flackback, and the world starts distorting

- as she is ready to go down the stairs, she sees another past friend that was involved in the friend's fate

- the past friend pushes her down out of anger and unconcious, it seems as if her fate has been sealed too (picture a scene where she lies still at the bottom of the stairs, barely breathing)

- she wakes up in an area with pale-ish cream white white floor that has the texture of uneven rubber and they sky is pure white. Abby is lying on the floor.

-her whole body is just a shadow, instead of her eyes, which are as is

-”you feel it emiko, can’t you?” “feel what? bean, you might be going insane…” “Oh right. I forgot how ignorant you were.”

-two figures who look exactly who abby remembers herself to be but just different hairstyles and clothes introduce themselves.

Similarities:
-same exact hair color, body, skin tone.

The left:
-calls herself emiko, or em
-tied back wavy brown hair
-desaturated dark blue miami beach hoodie
-generic gray shorts
-socks vary. Today she has gray cat socks

The right
-calls herself beanbag, or bean
- wavy, short brown hair that is let down
- pink shirt that looks suspiciously like lululemon, symbolizing that this half has already succumbed to society’s hands
-also wearing black athleta shorts, which might be a hint to her fate, for she has givin up in the struggle to be unique

(i dont own anything lululemon but i may have the athleta shorts)

-they explain how abby got a concussion when getting pushed by her friend and how her fate still has a way to go

-abby asks if she is trapped forever, but bean and em don’t answer

- they bring her to 2 houses, and they explain that one of them belong to them. House one looks very nice and new, in a modern style. However, what shocks abby is that the second one looks exactly like her house“back there,” when she was still not concussed. But what shocks her the most is that “her house” looks devastating

-bean explains that “her house” was where a third person lived. Their name was nanu


-”Who are you? I mean, I know your names, but why do you look exactly like me when I was- still… out there? And why do both of you seem so familiar?” (Abby)

-Bean and Em know why, but Abby’s physical memory seems to almost totally wiped. Later, they have a small squabble over whether they should tell abby the truth about what she did happened.

-at night, the sky turns pure black, but there do seem to be glass triangles in the air?

(I suppose I can launch a few chapters of “oneshots” to fill in the gap, because this is basically what they do for several days.)

Soon, abby noticed that there seems to be something off about this place
-what is up with the glass triangles in the sky?
-why is she finding glass shards in a lot of places?
-why do the other two look like how she was?
-where is she? Why won’t they tell her?
-sometimes, she could have sworn she just saw the whole realm glitch. Once, the sky also flashed red too?
-why can she actually recall some aspects of the area?
-what is up with the storm in the distance that never moves?
-who is nanu? And where is nanu? What significance does she have?

(reply to @moonleii_'s post above) aww thank you <3 i am kinda shy about releasing the actual webcomic, but hearing you say other people might need this actually warms my heard and makes me want to go a bit forward with this. after all, an estimated 68% of HOTW was taken from what I feel myself, with the intention of it being relatable for most. of course, it it becomes too much for you, you don't have to follow my webcomic, for sometimes others being relatable could hurt. take care of yourself! I also plan to add some comedical aspects in too, so the story doesn't plunge in too far (yet)

Emiko lore.

There are three inner selves of the puppet Abby. As well as that, there are three virtues as well. Guess what? Each virtue also comes with a sin. Emiko stands for the virtue of bliss, and the sin of ignorance.

There seems to be a storm at the edge of the headspace. Or… is it a storm?

-Her beginnings started a day after watermelon girl’s passing. The puppet’s mom told her to smile more.

-at the same time, the puppet was thinking of making a social media account. She was thinking of making the acc name “smile” with a bunch of underscores

-instead, she found smile meant emiko in japanese, and since she was a weeb back then she decided that felt better

-the puppet wanted emiko to be someone where she could express what she wanted to, her interests without getting bullied

-the puppet also had a desire to be called normal in society, so she locked a self of her away subconsciously

-eventually, all those locked-away feelings in the puppet headspace became too much. That’s when all those feelings merged together to become one, a new side of the puppet

-the puppet still attempted to hide emiko from others, yet “be” her when she needed to

-emiko has the least disturbances surrounding her, but she can also be very dangerous if relied on too much

-as a result of being hidden away from the public, all her “facilities” in the headspace is closer to the storm, as if she might get erased (she wont)

Don’t worry about me, i’ll know when it becomes too much BUT SERIOUSLY THIS IS SO GREAT i understand being scared of posting something if it’s too close to your heart and if you decide you don’t want to post it because it’s personal, that’s okay too but even if you don’t post it knowing a story exists like this somewhere is amazing <33

-has the personality of a little girl. She used to be the one who could calm down bean in one of her rage fights, before she disappeared

-she started fading away before the accident. Why? People told the puppet that she acted, talked, was weird

-after the accident 6 years ago, nanu dissapeared. It is speculated the puppet did not like who she was back then, and attempted to discard her previous identity.

-nanu may not be dead. However, she may be “fueling” abby’s grief and guilt

-in order to make “a new person” out of herself, bean is the one who was subconsciously burdened with the new identity. That is why her outfit looks “suspicious” but we’ll get into bean lore another day haha-
