Big news: I'm updating the Preview again to do what I mentioned in this post:

These softlocking bugs are something that I don't like being in the preview, even though it is only a preview, but as you mentioned Entity, they are very much tied to the way the game is programmed in the preview and hard to fix completely without rescripting a lot (like I have with Taranga). If there is some way for me to tackle these, if I ever get around to that update of the preview, I would prioritise the softlocking bugs, but can't promise them dissappearing completely.

Also, this absolutely needs to be said: Y'all are the coolest for still being interested in the game and chatting about it. Thanks so much!

I'm trying to get an extensive list going of all things that absolutely need fixing or nerfing (and maybe even buffing).
I'm still focusing on SFrT as my main Project right now, but it's finally time to get a Preview that hopefully doesn't softlock you.

trouble with clones? view my clone id toolbox! I also have built the bases of a tower defence game link here.
If someone on help with scripts is saying that something can't be done, they should be suspected of being a team limit grunt.

Official Monster World strategy and balance thread

In a 3 enemy battle, if you defeat the 1st and 2nd enemies simultaneously, the battle ends, and you can move to the next area, but the 3rd enemy is still alive and well for the next battle.

Each game seed is unique so this doesn't work universally.
Do you have the seed for the run this happened in?

Somebody should make a Boss Rush remix where instead of normal fights it's just all the bosses one after another.

I have just found a new artifact; the magic mousepad. to get it

  1. beat the game ten times in a row
  • on your eleventh run of the game defeat a double igore slime encounter.
  • complete that run, and start an endless loop, your first encounter will be two slimes.
  • go forest-elite, you will encounter night blade
  • go into your inventory and click on your second artifact exactly 38 times
  • defeat nightblade, then before starting the next encounter surrender your run.
  • imput seed 3821 and beat a draft run
  • lose on the third encounter of loop 3
  • beat seed 3821 again, this time on either hardcore or infinite knowledge
  • end your run on the credits screen, do not go endless
  • go into options, and set music volume to 0, FX to max, and textbox size to anything but the default or whatever you had it at for the previous runs.
  • start a new run, when you look at your inventory, if everything was done right, you will have the magic mouse pad.

what does the magic mouse pad do you might ask? it makes you get so much experience form any enemy that your level up straight form level 1 to 76!

He means “ichor slime”, a fight against 2 of them.

if we count the first run before endless mode as loop one, then you only need to beat the game twice.
