Interview prompt, faithfully written by Sienna
Colorful lights flash around the stage before a spotlight settles on you, sitting in an overly stuffed prop armchair across from Caesar Flickerman and his sharp blue eyes. A large smile is plastered across his face, showing off his unnaturally white teeth. It's too dark to see anything beyond the spotlights, but you know that a massive crowd is gathered in the audience below with bated breath, awaiting the much-anticipated interviews of the tributes. The thousands of people watching you could mean the difference between life and death, so the pressure is on.

“And now,” Caesar says, “Let's ask the ISTPs, some questions. They are known to be one of the best problem-solvers, and have a long fuse and big explosions.” Onion (me) feels the crowd watching her and wants to brush it off and feel nothing, but still feels some nervousness. She crosses her legs tentatively as the crowd applauds. Caesar waves at them to stop, speaking again. Insane gives her a wild grin and Onion smiles. “So, for one of the most important questions…” Caesar begins. “What is your favorite color?” The crowd goes silent as Onion feels invisible beads of nervousness collecting on her forehead. “Uh, that would be blue.” The crowd still remains silent as Onion fidgets with her fingers, pulling several hangnails. Caesar continues. “Why are you choosing to join the Hunger Games as tribute for the ISTP district?” Onion takes a deep breath and says calmly, “I joined the Hunger Games because I was bored.” Onion feels as if she's north, and everyone is a compass.
“So, what are your feelings about the Games?” Caesar presses as Onion lurches forward, her posture getting worse. “Uhhh… I am excited about what's next, and I'm determined to win.” The crowd applauds as Onion fights the urge to laugh as Insane makes a funny grin at her.
“Okay, two more questions, and we'll be moving on to Insane. What was your favorite food back in district ISTP, Onion?” Caesar asks as Onion strains to stop laughing with Insane. “Not gonna lie, I really like any Chinese food.” Onion says, hoping for no racist comments from the crowd. She smiles as she thinks about viola jokes.
“Last question! Are you a morning person or a night owl?” Caesar says with a serious, yet sorta playful voice. Onion almost immediately says, “Night owl!!!” and smiles at Insane.
The cameras swerve to Insane as Onion gives her a thumbs-up. “Let's ask Insane some questions now!” Caesar says as the crowd applauds.

Caesar flashes a brilliant smile to the crowd, the Capitol's entourage clapping as the previous district's tributes swiftly leave the stage. “Now, let's hear from our next district…the-” he said the next lines with a joking tone- “elusive district ENFJ.”
The two tributes waiting in anticipation backstage, Oly and England, waited for their cue, finally walking onto the stage to meet the massive wave of viewers before them. The overhead lights suddenly shone to startling colors of green, gold, and silver, matching the two tribute's costumes for the occasion. Oly, who wore a forest green dress with long, flowed-end sleeves complete with a hood, presenting brilliantly-colored gold highlights on the borders and lighter green leggings, sat adjacent to England. He sported a similarly-colored outfit, also sharing the same golden-bordered hood and sheen to the stage lights. His shoes, which were styled in a slightly formalized version of a combat style, included golden bottoms and laces. The two flashed a nervous smile to the crowd before sitting down and exchanging a few words of greeting with Caesar.
Caesar turned to face the tributes, relaxing in his own seat. “Well, well- It's quite the pleasure to finally meet you! So, introduce yourselves…your names- well, the audience certainly already knows that- your favorite part of your home district, any strengths you might be relying on going into these games!”
Oly and England exchanged a glance, silently communicating with one another. Oly, a smile plastered on her face, spoke first.
“I'm Oly, district ENFJ. I..well…I couldn't name just one thing I already miss about home.” She paused, wondering in what direction she should take these next words. “I'm immensely proud to be representing my district and community. This being said I think the thing I miss the most is our mutual support of each other. We were very close, even as a larger community, and were always there for one another. We'd step up for someone else if they needed help. Now that we're going to be pitted against others, I think this will definitely change.” Caesar sympathetically nodded in agreement, letting her continue on. She motioned to England, who replied, introducing himself and then following back to the first question.
“I agree there. I think district ENFJ is a very special place- and honestly, I'm not so sure if I'm ready to give it up yet. But I'll do whatever it takes to represent our people and bring back positive news and strength.”
Caesar smiled, facing the crowd. “Excellent! You both seem quite determined and proud of your origins. With that being said, how will you bring these goals to the big stage?”
Oly thought for a moment- she had gone over her potential strengths in her mind but found that, after listening to the other tributes, they could be less significant than she thought. /Only to be expected, everyone here's crazy talented./
“Well, I have a background in sports, mostly running and swimming, so I think I can count on my endurance throughout the games. Hopefully, patience will come in handy later on as well!” She laughed a little, easing her anxiety.
England responded. “I think we've done hopefully well to partner with some other tributes, which might help us in the early stages of the game. I hope our early decisions will help us in the long run, and I hope our alliances and skills around those areas will pay off in our favor.”
Caesar smiled in agreement. “Ah, yes, that's right! Just what I would expect from your district. After all, you are known for your skills with relationships and picking up on cues…which brings me to our last questions. You two have allied yourselves with districts INFJ, ENTJ and ISTP. Do you trust that your alliance partners will stick loyal to you for as long as possible?”
Oly paused, naturally skeptical, given the intentions of the Games. “It's only natural if they were to stray off or betray us…but I'm hopeful that we can stick together for as long as possible and get ourselves further into the games together.”
“I have faith in them,” England replied, confident, “And think their skills are great. And like Oly said, I just hope it goes well for us and we can play off of each other's strengths to our advantage.”
Caesar nodded in approval. “That's great to hear! Well, one last question fo the both of you. What's something you want other tributes to know about you, or your district, going into the games?”
Only Oly answered this question. “Just because our district is made out to be generally friendly doesn't make us less dangerous. We'll do what we need to do in order to win, and bring this back for our district. Don't underestimate us!”
The crowd applauded, entertained by the shift of tone, Caesar laughed along. “Well, this was a pleasure! We'll be sending the best of luck to you here from the Capitol! That was district ENFJ!”
The two took a final wave to the crowd before exiting the stage, their costumes shining even in the darkness of the stage.
