Voting polls

My suggestion is that if we are having an update we could have a voting poll so that we can use the data and then we can use that data so that we can find what updates the community wants and this can prevent arguments.

That's not what they're suggesting at all - they're asking for the Scratch Team to send out a poll before updating the website.
