Why no cat blocks?
Today it's april fools, but caturday mode is missing, why is it not there right now? Is 4 years since Cat Blocks were made too much? I missed out on April Fools 2022 because i was inactive when that happened, and I missed out on April Fools 2023 because I went on holiday and I was banned, anyways, but now I can finally do april fools, but the cat blocks have stopped?!
THIS THING NEEDS AN UPDATE-

I use the browser Google Chrome, and I use the OS Windows 11.

I LOVE Animal Crossing soooo much! I currently have every Animal Crossing game (including spin-offs) except the ones only in Japan.
I have a bunch of OCs, and most of them are based off my AC characters. However, I also have a (pretend) cat named Toodloo, and he's one of my main OCs(?) as well as Kitty Cat (from New Horizons), KittyCat (from New Leaf) and Meow.
New Leaf and Pocket Camp are my favorite AC games! (although I actually like all of them.) I wish I could have my real self move to the world of Animal Crossing!

Why no cat blocks?
So far, the only AFD2024-related thing the ST have officially made a comment on is the allowed activity surrounding AFD2024 posts on the forums, or the lack thereof.
The reason why they didn't add cat blocks first of all, especially when they've been basically a mainstay of Scratch's AFD, is really unclear.

So far, the only AFD2024-related thing the ST have officially made a comment on is the allowed activity surrounding AFD2024 posts on the forums, or the lack thereof.Hopefully they add it back soon! I want a year where a lot of fun stuff happens on AFD! But i think the day is only starting tomorrow for me in the Scratch Team's timezone, so maybe tomorrow i can see more stuff than just jokes on the search page!

Why no cat blocks?
It's not started for them yet. They're planning to have a themed April Fools studio - any other April Fools activity that may come will probably start around when that studio gets created.
Signatures are the only place where assets links still work.

Let's wait until 10:30am EST before worrying too much. As of writing this post, 10:30am EST is in about 2 hours. The reason I say this is because the Scratch Team members responsible for updating the website — assuming that they will this year — are probably not online or at work yet.
This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.
I was a Scratch Team member from May 10th 2019 to October 29th 2021.

That's fine though, the default for the Scratch Team on April Fools Day is not to do anything as it is a privilege, it isn't necessary or very benefictial to the site that strives for Scratch's core goals (education, accesibility etc). Keep in mind that the Scratch Foundation has also gone through many changes in the past year with no stable leadership (according to former Scratch Team member @wheelsonfire)(source) so perhaps no big April Fools Changes this year was the best decision to take.
All suggestions are unnecessary. If a suggestion is necessary then it's a bug report.
April Fools Day on the forums has been a repeated privilege, not an expectation

While the information is reliable, it may have bias, as those “changes” led to his loss of position. Not saying that is certainly true, though.
