Namesnipes
most random names are taken, but they do no activity. are these namesnipes spam bots or multiple Namesnipers with hundreds of namesnipes?

Its usually people that either joined long ago and didn't have a good interest in Scratch, or individuals that wanted a namesnipe.

Most likely they're just normal users who wanted a namesnipe as bots aren't allowed and there's a captcha that usually prevents said bots when creating an account.

most random names are taken, but they do no activity. are these namesnipes spam bots or multiple Namesnipers with hundreds of namesnipes?Namesnipes are allowed, but not encouraged. These accounts could be bots or real people, but we can't know for sure

Some are normal users, others are bots for the sole purpose of getting a name snipe.
