did you try the moss ball in the warrior den? if not try that it should be what you need to get moss-kit

For the Pearl, you slip in the river on your way to see Ashtail.

For the Gold, it's in the water at the beach near fireclan.

For the Sapphire, you click the owl at the battlegrounds, Amberclaw will say something when she's done talking click the Sapphire the owl will get it down then click the Sapphire when it's on the ground to collect it.

For the Emerald, you have to be at least an apprentice, when you're an apprentice, go to the herb garden and talk to Nightpaw, She found the Emerald and hid it in the apprentice den.

For the final gem, you must be leader or wait until Liontail dies then collect the gem.

You give Mosskit the Moss-ball that dark claw was playing with.

After you become leader are you able to do anything (other than adopting kits with breezestar and decorating the graves)

yeah no stuff in your inventory doesn't save w/ your game, go in and out of wherever you found it and it should spawn eventually

one is in the river near the fireclan border, one is in the little stream , you have to splash in it. aften being apprentice, talk to nightkit, and go to the apprentice den and uncover the leaf pile, there is a gem there. one is on the tree with Alyssa the owl, talk to amberclaw about her than click the stone, Alyssa will help u get it down. The last one is with liontail, wait till she dies and go to elders den to click it
