Old 2.0 Blocks that Should Be Brought Back

There are a lot of old 2.0 blocks that are useful or just save time. Below you can put any removed ones that you think should be brought back.

First, I'd recommend the
all at once

end
block. It saves you time by making it so you don't have to make a custom block just to run something without screen refresh.

Another is the “costume number” and “backdrop number” reporter blocks. These could be used to debug and for other reasons.

This is not a list, a list of suggestions is unrelated to each other, so if I say I wanted to add a looks block and a control block, that's a list, but showing multiple control blocks to suggest is NOT a list

Please add all of the things you suggested to the OP.

Those both became the costume () (which can has number and name in a dropdown) as well as backdrop () (same thing) blocks, so this will not happen.

If they had been taken out of Scratch 3.0, ST must of had a reason for it. A reason that probably looks a lot like these:

1. It has an easy workaround

2. It was virtually unused

3. it was too complicated

I hope that helped

That is not why, it is mostly because the blocks were replaced (other than that, because the blocks were in removed extensions), and all at once was removed before 2.0 finished.
Also, days since 2000, video blocks, switch backdrop to () and wait, next costume/backdrop, and other “virtually unused” or “easy workaround” blocks still exist.
Edit: Actually, there was also this block (which was hidden but was in a currently existing extension)
https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Play_Note_()_for_()_Seconds_(block)
And yeah, that was the real reason it was hidden.
