So, often, I'll go to Griffpatch's profile, hang out and chat and all that. Sometimes I'll get my chat disabled for mistakenly saying something that didn't follow the guidelines. However, I've noticed, each time or so, the time for my chat being disabled goes higher and higher, which was weird (and concerning), because usually I'll only get these every couple weeks or so, “shouldn't it reset if I didn't constantly disobey?” I thought. Eventually, it went up to 10 minutes. I've been starting to get more and more concerned, because I believe I heard something that if it the time amount gets high enough, eventually my account will get banned. And I don't want that, but how can I stop it if the time amount will never reset? Will my destiny just be a demise of getting banned?

Mutes don't usually turn to bans unless the scratch team gets involved. Sometimes the chatbot goes a bit wonky, maybe there was so thing it misread. Sometimes spaced out words still somehow get detected.

If you do it in a short period of time, it will go up.
But sometime, severity is the faction that makes your mutes longer.

And tbh if you do it too much, that’s only when st gets involved

The length of mutes will increase if you get muted twice or more times in a short period. They will eventually reset after a while. Avoid getting too many mutes, because your mute time can go around 16 hours or something like that.

I don't know for sure if the ST keeps track of things like that, but I was falsely flagged for advertising, and the ST removed it and said something along lines of “A Scratch Team member falsely flagged you for advertising. The alert has been removed from your account.”

You’re okay, Scratch Team does keep track of alerts, but unless your mute reasons and text were severe, 10 minutes probably won’t cause you a ban. If you were banned, you would get a screen showing your last 6 alerts though.
