So…I was going to hold auditions, but I realized that would take to long…so…I'm assigning people. If you want to be a character, tell me! If there's more than one person for a character, this might be first come first serve…or maybe a voice battle.
(Official cast coming once everyone I ask accepts. NOTE: If I send someone a request to play a part and if they don't respond within 4 days, their part will be given to another person.)

Act 1: Intro to Elvin World
(After title sequence, screen gets blinded with blue light. Screen turns black. Newspaper with Sophie's picture on it fades into the scene.)
FITZ (voiceover)
Is this you?

(FITZ is holding newspaper, pointing at Sophie's image.)

(Zooms in on image of Sophie on newspaper then turns into Sophie)

FITZ
I can't believe we've found you! We've been looking for you for 12 years!

(Lamppost falls from left of the screen changing scene to Sophie using telekinesis to lift the lamppost.)

SOPHIE
*scream*

SOPHIE (voiceover)
What do you mean, “one of us?”

FITZ
What I'm trying to say is,

(Scene changes to when they're in the Zoo parking lot.)

you're not human Sophie. You're an elf.

(Scene changes to when SOPHIE, FITZ, and ALDEN are on the entrance rock to Atlatis.)

SOPHIE
So…Atlantis really exists?

ALDEN (voiceover)
(shows flashback of what ALDEN is saying)
Atlantis used to be a place where elves and humans would interact together. But after we learned that they wanted to war us and take over, we had to hide our capital, our cities, Atlantis, everything to keep the Elvin world safe.

(Scene switches to SOPHIE at Everglen right before the meeting with the Councillors)

SOPHIE
Wait, so you named your most prestigious school after a fungus?

FITZ (angry)
Stop calling it a fungus! Foxfire is the school only for the best, and it's the only path to nobility!

ALDEN
You'll have to mind my son, he's very proud of going to Foxfire.

(Scene switches to outside of Foxfire test)

SOPHIE
Is it hard to get into Foxfire?

ALDEN
You'll do fine.

(Scene switches to the test)

Just relax. Your body has limits, but your mind doesn't.

ORALIE
You have my vote.

BRONTE
But, I demand a probe!

(Scene switches to Atlantis at the whirlpool exit.)

ALDEN (yelling)
Incoming!

(FITZ lands on top of SOPHIE)

SOPHIE (muffled)

(Scene switches to views of scenery in Atlantis on the boat thingy in the canals)

SOPHIE
So…what exactly is a probe?

(Scene turns into Quilin's office)

FITZ
A probe is basically when a telepath looks through all your memories.

SOPHIE
Why would they want to probe…me?

(Zooms in on Quinlin)

QUINLIN
Her mind is impenetrable. Who knows what could be hidden in that quiet mind of hers.

Act 2: Rising Action
Scene switches to outside Sophie's house
Fitz: You ready?
Scene switches to Sophie wiping human parents memories
scene changes to Everglen
Fitz: You did the right thing to wipe their memories.
Scene changes into Havenfield with Verdi
Edaline: Welcome to Havenfield!
Grady: This is our T. Rex, Verdi.
Scene switches to Edaline conjuring lushberry juice and mallowmelt
Marella: Edaline, she's an Conjurer. Grady, well…Scene switches to Grady working with the animals he's an Mesmer.
Scene switches to Mysterium
Background muttering/whispering: Is that Edaline? I thought she never went out of the house. (just say other random stuff related to the situation

Background whispering/muttering: Sophie
Alina: That's not how we greet a new prodigy!
Background: *starts clapping*
Background changes to Sophie and Dex walking to lockers
Sophie: She had to force them to clap for me.
Dex: Well, no prodigy has ever joined in the middle of the year before.
Scene switches to cafeteria

Additionally, because of some logistical reasons, making a trailer for the whole book would be kind of hard for me right now (but I'll still consider it.). Instead, I'm going to be making an epic intro sequence, as well as doing lots of work on character design and movement.
Just fyi, I'm using Krita for art and animation. I know quite a bit about character design and animation, so I hope it'll be pretty quality.
I'm also working on figuring out lip syncing. One of my HUGE pet peeves is when animated characters have poor lip syncing and blink once per scene, so expect very high quality lip syncing and the characters actually realistically blinking.

Do I need to do any lines? Because I never particularly auditioned, I don’t think, I just signed up.

I'm working on this new animation interface called Blender for the animation, so it might be some time before I get completely used to modeling and animating the characters there, but I am working on character design sheets on paper.

Also, to change your bio, on the main forum page you scroll down and there's this thing in a little box on the bottom that says “Change Signature.” You then click on it, change your bio/signature, and then click save. I hope that was helpful.
