It would simply be an option, and nothing of the sort would happen, as they would stay in 4:3. (We don’t want the dreaded 2.0 break to happen.)

The 4:3 projects would still make up the vast majority for a long while; I don’t think that everyone will forget about them that soon. It’s just a toggle. Also, I really doubt that the ST would remove all of those projects just because of a decreased preference of some Scratchers.

Sure, but I don’t think that 16:9 isn’t. I doubt that kids would take one look at the aspect ratio and think, “Yeah, I’m out.” Why would they switch to other websites just because of the screen size being different? They can just ask how to change their screen. And also, why would the teachers have a different screen size? The website wouldn’t become deserted just because of an aspect ratio.
