A not quite chat but it’s being shared privately?

So, I want to create these teacher-tool-like games where teachers can use it and us students can like, share some stuff. I’d use cloud variables, but in a lot of my ideas, you have to send information to the teacher like a chat. For example, say Bob wants to send the teacher the script ‘Bob’. Does this count as chatting? What are some workarounds?

If they can put whatever they want in these scripts/chats that might be a problem, if not I don't see an issue

This would not be a private messaging issue, rather an unmoderated chat video - these chats wouldn't be private - they are viewable in the cloud monitor for the project. This issue is that it could be easy to type inappropriate messages. I would be careful with this, and ask more specific and clarifying questions in the Questions about Scratch forum as you're making it.

Well, what I’m trying to do is make it so only one person can see the names.

Good point though, someone could just look in-game.

Yeah… I don’t really think so…
