Lives counter isn't showing up after I press retry button, need help fixing bug

In my game (found here): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/689579905/editor/
whenever you die you get shown a Game Over screen and the option to retry the game. It works, but as you can expect by the title of this post, the lives counter doesn't show up. What have I done wrong and how can I fix it?

When it retries, it broadcasts the message: game retry instead of game start. perhaps remove the game retry?
