New profile feature: Ban status notice

Hi I think it would be nice to know if a user is banned or just on hiatus! (I’m going to word the context like a Reddit AITBG story

)

Context: My ex-friend (10,F) started to bully me (12,F) on here and now she has either left scratch, or is ignoring me and my friends trying to show her I apologized and a including project explaining what happened from my perspective and my true feelings behind everything that happened. Now I don’t know what to do, I never want to see or talk to her again, but I also want her to apologize and us to be friends again all at once.. This would be a lot less confusing and it would make me feel less torn if I knew she was banned or not. She might be on spring break so I’m going to give her another 2 weeks or so to contact me and stuff but that’s not why I’m here

A feature that would show if a user is banned or not would be a great addition to scratch, like if a user is banned there would be a small red circle next to their name showing that the user has been banned, no circle means the user has not been banned. Please reply if you have any issues and/or if you support the idea

NOTE: this is not meant to humiliate any scratchers and will just be status indicator.

For privacy reasons, the Scratch Team does not share such account information with anyone other than the account owner. In particular, a banned user may not want to reveal the fact that they were banned to the public.

However, giving a Scratcher the option to publicly show if they are banned is NOT rejected; you can discuss it on this topic.
