i dont know why, but when i have my thumbnail the front and when the flag is clicked it dissapears, my thumbnail seems ok, but if i save it does not update on my scratch page.
does anyone know how to fix this??

Have you looked at it when not logged in - assuming it is shared? It can be slower for the owner to see thumbnail updates than for other users.

You can make a thumbnail through the actual project scripts! Simply make a new sprite titled “thumbnail”, put your thumbnail as the first costume, then put the following code into the project:

when green flag clicked
set [ghost v] effect to (100)
forever
go to front layer :: looks
end

As long as the thumbnail stays on the front layer, as soon as the person presses stop, then the image will show up. It will also always show up when the person gets on the project. Finally, the thumbnail will actually appear as the thumbnail on the front of the project page, due to it being the most recently updated image of the project before you actually start the project.

Oh, I see you already have that. The best thing I can say (and hopefully without being blocked from commenting) is to use Scratch *Ignore this text* Addons. Through that, there's a setting through which you can update your thumbnail to the current picture on the screen. It's basically just a b(r)owser extension that allows you to do a bunch of different things with the Scratch page.

how do I get that, and if it blocks comments, can I fix the comments?

Oh, no, it doesn't block comments, but it's just against Scratch guidelines to advertise it. Basically, just go to some extension downloader application (like GX Extensions or Chrome Web Store or whatever you have) and look for it. Download it, then change the settings.

I dont have the chrome app store or anything like that though. also Im thinking why it wont update could be because the scratch team is working on something

Yeah, I think that's probably it. I tried to update the message, but it said that the servers were having issues. What kind of computer are you running? (Chromebook, Windows, Mac, ect..)
