Where do the music loops come from?
jungle = Intro Superllanero by horacero
Actually, this probably comes from Distorted Reality 1 by Spectrasonics, I remember browsing this CD and hearing this.
This also makes sense due to the scratch being released in 2007, song being released in 2009, and Distorted Reality being released in 1995

Hmmm… I listened to this and this and while I did find a couple similar-sounding samples, I didn't notice any exact match… I could have just missed it, though.jungle = Intro Superllanero by horacero

Where do the music loops come from?
From what I know, the “Eggs” theme comes from a Scratch project shared a long time ago, I don't know the name of the project and its URL, I think it was shared during the Scratch 1.x era.

My post at the top of page 2 has a full list of everything that has and hasn't been sourced; the topic post is a bit outdated ^.^'

Where do the music loops come from?
…Okay I can now say pretty confidently that:
1. It isn't in the “Ambient” category or in the first half of the “Drones” category (alphabetically, A-L)
2. There are however some cool sound effects which I might have to sneak into future games…
3. This is probably not the best activity to do right before going to bed xD
AND
4. I have to go to bed so I'll probably be back at this tomorrow unless somebody else wants to go through the rest of the tracks LOL
because I do in fact have quite literally,, nothing better to do…
EDIT: Okay clearly I misunderstood the text on Archive.org and this wasn't actually meant to be available for free, and I believe in respecting content creators so ignore #2.

It def wont be in the drone category, try checking if there are any categories relating drum loops.Yeah, I figured it wouldn't, I just wanted to check if there were any other Scratch sounds included there as well while I'm at it since they would sometimes take multiple sounds from the same source :P
Are the xylos from a known source?Based on the Scratch 1.4 metadata, Xylo 4 was by Beau Silver - brother of the former Scratch Team member Jay Silver who seemed to be the one to add the “Eggs” loop in - so a full version may not exist, but then again, perhaps it's hiding wherever that extended version of Cave originated…
I'm honestly kind of just considering reaching out to Jay Silver to ask if he was in charge of the whole sound library, considering he has public contact info on his website, but a n x i e t y…
All the other Xylos are currently unknown

Where do the music loops come from?
…Okay, I think I can now say with relative certainty* that none of the tracks on “Distorted Reality” (at least, everything on the archive I downloaded, which I think is meant to be the full thing) were used in the Scratch library.
*It's also possible that one was there and I just missed it because I'd lost my sanity from hearing one ZWEEP too many xDD

I'm unable to check right now, I probably just heard a very similar track.
This is why I said PROBABLY, because there are similar loops that Scratch used, and it is possible that the MIT developers used this sample CD, as scratch is known to use samples from other sample CDs, like the Brian Transeau and AMG 160dB ones.
Nintendo did use this multiple times in their games, which is why some might sound familiar.
Also, yes, you did get the full thing, along with the Distorted Reality 2 ones and NKI files for Kontakt, because the one I downloaded before had the same layout.

Well if nothing else it was kind of fun to listen to xD
Plus the track names made me laugh more than once. And “ZWEEP” is also really fun to say xDD

Where do the music loops come from?
(#172)If you want I could try emailing JayWhat song is the music loop “Medieval1?” I've been digging around everywhere for the answer but I haven't found itOkay… bear with me… I'm not sure which part of my post is triggering the filter (as far as I can tell, everything I am talking about should be allowed to be said) so I'm just going to try updating this post with a bit at a time until I figure it out.the closest thing I did find was that it was from a song called “Death,” but the author wasn't mentioned and so I couldn't actually find the full song. Does anybody know?
We're not actually sure if there even *is* a full song, or if there is, if it's even accessible to the internet. As pitobayola said, it was written by Beau Silver - brother of former Scratch Team member Jay Silver, who's also the one who asked bmarcell if the “Eggs” track could be added to Scratch - so it's entirely possible that it was never released apart from as a track on Scratch.
However, a full version of “Cave”, another of Beau Silver's tracks, has been found with metadata that checks out and indicates it being official, but the original source of the file is totally unknown. So it is possible that the full track of “Death” is out there somewhere as well.
A while back I think someone from here tried sending-the-form-of-the-internet-communication-that-is-often-associated-with-an-envelope-icon-ing Beau Silver (it was publicly available on his website, we ARE NOT posting people's info here.) but I don't believe they ever got an answer back. IIRC Jay Silver has a form-of-the-internet-communication-that-is-often-associated-with-an-envelope-icon listed on his site as well, perhaps somebody might want to reach out to him? If he was the person who got the “Eggs” sound, and the brother of Beau Silver, it's entirely possible that he was in charge of finding all the loops used in 1.4.
But I'm too paranoid to send-the-form-of-the-internet-communication-that-is-often-associated-with-an-envelope-icon people unless they send-the-form-of-the-internet-communication-that-is-often-associated-with-an-envelope-icon me first.
oh shoot forgot they updated the forums filter… wELp ThAt'S FuN
for the final time, scratch, merely MENTIONING the existence of other websites DOES NOT MEAN I WANT TO SHARE MY OWN INFO *sigh*
Final edit: Okay, so apparently I'm not allowed to italicize the word ‘is’… I guess the joke's on me for assuming the forum filter would ignore BBCode tags

Where do the music loops come from?
That is the original link. The Scratch user bmarcell created the song and imported it into their Scratch project. As far as I know, they didn't post it anywhere else. (It's in the second sprite, btw.)Eggscan you send us an original link to the song? It’d be very helpful!
If you scroll to the bottom of the comments you'll see one from Scratch Team member jay asking if it can be put into the Scratch sound library. (I don't have any concrete evidence for this, but I'm assuming that this is the same person as Jay Silver, AKA Beau Silver's brother, because his website said he worked on Scratch and so it kinda makes the most sense.)
