When a project is shared, have a basic filter go through it (READ ENTIRE POST)
(#360)
Based on reply no. 1, the ST has already been working on this. Why is discussion necessary? What more could be said about this, except clarifying what valtrens’s specific model system is (which may not be exactly what the ST is building anyway)?
(#2)They said that they are interested in the concept of project filtering, and although it shows that they certainly know and care about it, it doesn't necessarily mean they are working on it.
Project filtering is certainly an area that we are very interested in.
I do agree with you, however, that there is likely not much left to discuss.

What would the filter look for exactly?

(#362)Presumably anything that's in filters like the comment filter or the forum filter.
What would the filter look for exactly?
Okay, so it would only be looking for words and such?

I had a stroke reading this, so I just copy pasted it into ChatGPT. This is what they said:
The suggestion aims to streamline the process of identifying and removing inappropriate projects on Scratch. It proposes implementing a filter that automatically reports projects containing inappropriate content upon sharing, without censoring the content. Additionally, it suggests a system to block users who repeatedly trigger the filter within a short timeframe. The pros include prompt attention to inappropriate content and minimal disruption to users, while potential cons involve the report queue possibly filling up, although this is deemed unlikely. The suggestion also acknowledges the possibility of workarounds but suggests that the filter's covert nature would discourage their use.
Maybe you could include it in the OP so that when I refer to this topic in the future I understand what is going on

Project filtering is certainly an area that we are very interested in.Wow, this got the rare achievement of not-rejected a suggestion being responded from a staff member and the member somewhat considering it
