Allow Account Settings while banned

support, this idea will be great in case if an perma banned account would want to delete their account or if a user about to be unbanned can change their pass

Bump, the Scratch Team NEEDS to implement this.

What if while you're banned, you realize your password's horrible, then after, a hacker figures it out and goes in your account in an hour cuz Contact Us is too slow and you couldn't change your password in that hour? Once you get unbanned, you would need to race to change your password before that hacker does anything bad on your account.

Yeah, because people could get hacked and it be leaked why they were banned

Support. A hacker could do something bad to your account at the speed of light after you get unbanned, causing you to then lose your account for good, so allowing to change the password would be a very good idea. I feel like the ST might accept this suggestion at any point.

I'm still wondering what the point of doing this is. If you can't do anything with that account anymore, what's the point of changing the email and password?

I do still support this, but I think it could be expanded to show the projects that you've made, so if somebody got banned but they had a project that the loved and lost forever, they should at least get to keep it. Although, this would allow for the banned account to post whatever they've posted on yet another account. They would have to implement a way to stop that project from being exported, it could probably be detected if that project was reported way too much.

If your account was hacked, and the hacker done really bad things to try and get you mistaken and banned, changing the password can prevent this from happening again. I recommend a password with at least 10 characters and at least 2 symbols such as # or $.
