eg. a kid acciedently posts f instead of b in brick.

I think that's one of the reasons Scratch team intends not to put something like this in.

Support, most of the time you haven't even actually said a bad word (or didn't mean to) and the scratch censoring thing just decides to do that, and if you don't know how to correct it you would be forced to rewrite the entire message, which is VERY annoying.

Telling people where they said a bad word so they can delete that part is not going to turn anyone into a gang member.

I noticed the suggestion being bumped here was all the way back from 2014, which means that the discussion here isn't going to reflect the current word filter features and tweaks in place. Might be good to start the suggestion fresh if you guys feel the topic is still relevant.
