Bring back Import Project!

Import Project was a feature in Scratch 1.4 that for some reason wasn't carried over to Scratch 2.0. Import Project let you merge 2 projects together, basically opening one up, and adding another to it. For example, if you have made a few games, you could make a menu for them and then merge them together (with some replacing flag clicks with broadcasts of course). While you can use the backpack, it'd be really inconvenient if you had many sprites in one project, and there could be mix ups (especially if you already have a messy backpack like me). I feel that this feature should come back in 2.0 as I don't really feel I should be going back a version and missing out on the 2.0 features.

I guess you have a point, however I still see this as a little unnecessary. Since it wouldn't really affect anything, I neither support nor don't support.

Support, it will make it easier to import projects with a lot of sprites.

I think Vetpetmon meant the offline editor not having a backpack.

Just make a 1 sprite outro; most intros/outros can be compacted into 1 sprite.

Why not make the menu first and then make all of the games in the same project?

I don't see a reason for this - the workarounds are sufficient. No support.

I was going to do a more complicated one with a couple of sprites and using clones will make it lag and the other problems, but I see your point.

Clones don't really lag. Take a look at how I compacted @cmot's intro: original, edited

It would be hard to transfer a whole lot of stuff, and what he is suggesting is MERGING of projects, not importing certain sprites.

True, but think about collaborations!!

Collaborations would really have a good outcome in this!! Because one person would remix all the stuff for the game, then they would edit it to work!! Much better than dragging a whole bunch a stuff that could take hours compared to 1-2 hours, maybe 30 minutes!

I support!

/offtopic/
Clones only lag on bad computers!! Most computers can handle them.
