How many Frames per second does scratch run at

I believe scratch tops out at around 30fps. You can test this with a fairly short script:

When this script is done running, the variable T should be approximately equal to 1, indicating that it took one second for Scratch to perform 30 screen refreshes.

Yeah, 30 sounds about right for a typical project. Some huge ones run at like 10 though.

Paper Minecraft (without phosphorus) runs at like 2 FPS on my computer.

Anyway, there's a Scratch Mod called Score and that runs at 60 FPS. You can't share projects from Score though becuase of new blocks.

wait, so does phosphorus run scratch at better fps? Or does it do the opposite, I mean it does run faster code, but it doesn't run smoother?
