The ST doesn't seem to care about banning asset links in signatures, with assets being able to be abused in signatures too, so why not forum posts too? At this point, it's almost like they don't care; assets were really useful for people who didn't have any other choice for images on the forums.

(#45)False. Don't let this get out to the trolls, but signatures don't have any sort of filterbot at all, as far as I can tell.

get image is censored but not assets
which also means upload is censored too

(#1)This is an exagerration. In most countries there isn't 1 PC per student (or only in one class, but that's not enough to browse the forums). Even though I still support your suggestion. Probably 25% still use school devices.
most scratchers use SCHOOL DEVICES

And multiply that by 1000. Thats 2 GB of storage. Still a fairly large amountThis still may be rejected.Images don't waste that much space. A 1080P PNG picture only takes up around 2MB of storage. A project, especially those as massive as Chirpy Reverie, takes up a lot more space.9.5 Allow files to be uploaded into forum posts
The Scratch Team would have to pay for storage of these files, and they only have a limited amount of resources to do so. Storage space would be better allocated toward Scratch projects, anyway. There is also the issue of someone uploading a file that can potentially cause harm to someone's computer. Searching through these files would require significantly more moderation work, and there are not enough moderators able to do the job at the moment.

(#55)False, projects take however much they need. A small one I just downloaded takes 4.8 MB, while Appel is 11.5 MB, PTE++ is just 183 KB, and AspectOS 0.33 Beta is 84.1 MB. It varies.(#54)And a project takes 50MB of storage. And multiply that by 1000. Thats 2 GB of storage. Still a fairly large amountThis still may be rejected.Images don't waste that much space. It wasn't meant to be an image host in the first placeTrue, but as a still-relevant topic, assets was used as one.
