I Just accidentally deleted scripts for a game and can't get them back. I think a undo button would solve this, so that a could undo mistakes like deleting sprites. I hope you do add this!

If you haven't closed it yet, you can right-click the coding area and select Undo.

This is a thing that can be done in Turbo warp….kinda
But it would be cool if this feature was in scratch

1. I've seen many people who don't realize that this is a thing though until later (I mean the edit -> restore thing) because of how hidden the option is.
2. If something like that is implemented for scripts, it can also be implemented for other things such as sprites as well.
3. I have also seen people who do not realize that the sprite is deleted until later because of how large the delete button was made in a Scratch 3.0 update (it used to be a small x, and to delete a sprite in Scratch 2.0, you would've had to right click or use the scissors tool).

1. That doesn't fix the 3rd issue though.
2. I have also seen people forget that the button exists because of how hidden it is.
3. Proper undo and redo buttons should just be implemented, since that would allow multiple actions to be undone or redone. It doesn't help that the current method only undeletes/restores the last deleted thing.

just try not to forget to open the editor in inprivate mode, banana!

yes, the editor has context menus for undo/redo, yes it has ctrl + z
but it does not have ctrl + y???????????????????
also, most editors (be that code or otherwise) have undo and redo in the “edit” in their menu bars
